Big Wins at WorldFest!

APRIL 20th, 2013–It was a big night for “The Daughter” at the 46th Annual WorldFest–Houston International Film Festival Awards Dinner. The film placed first in the Feature Suspense/Thriller category, taking home a Platinum Remi Award. The film was also a Critics Choice nominee for Best Picture.

Marian Sorensen took home the Critics Choice Award for Best Actress. The award was presented by CNN Houston’s Nick Nicholson. “Sorensen shines as Rian Fielding in ‘The Daughter’,” says Nicholson, “With a performance that leaves everything onscreen, you are certain to be hearing more of her in the years to come.”

It was a wonderful evening. Congratulations to the cast and crew of “The Daughter”!
